Rafael Nadal, the King of clay

Rafa Nadal was born in Manacor, the second biggest inhabited city in Mallorca, in 1986.
He comes from a sporty’s family, for example his uncle, Miguel Angel Nadal was a football player of Barça, Real Clube Mallorca and the Spanish National Team. Its other uncle, Toni Nadal was his main coach since he began to play tennis until 2017.
By the way, when did Rafael start to play tennis?
They say that he began to play tennis with only 3 years old, and when he was 8 years old won a title called Sub-12 de Tênis in the Balearic Islands.
His sport career is impeccable and long, so, he’s won, at this moment, 19 Gram Slams tournaments and several competitions around the world.
Aside from being a fantastic example in sport, Rafa and his mother created a foundation with his namesake in 2008. There’s one Foundation in Spain and one in India. Its main aim is to help children and young persons with special abilities, promoting their social integration and sporty talent always connected with sport and education.
On the other hand, his Academy which name is Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar has been open in Manacor since 2016.
It is a large venue where you can enjoy a play area, observe his and his friends’ old and used racquetballs (Serena Williams, Boris Becker…) his trophies and sport’s equipment clothes, a shop, restaurant - bar with fantastic views over more than 27 tennis courts.
